The Inaugural Annual HBCU Blockchain Summit 2019

The Center for the Study of Blockchain and Financial Technology at Morgan State University takes great pleasure in announcing the Inaugural Annual Summit on Blockchain Technology. 

The Summit had seven sessions including a blockchain primer and a panel discussion. The keynote speaker was Kevin Werbach, Professor of Legal Studies and Business Ethics at Wharton. He is the author of "The Blockchain and the New Architecture of Trust."  Lee Reiners of Duke Law presented the legal and regulatory perspectives. Kahina Van Dyke, Senior Vice President of Business and Corporate Development at Ripple discussed recent developments and trends in FinTech. Aram Barnett, a Morehouse alumnus talked about his cryptoventures and gamification in blockchain.  Companies with business models based on blockchain technology discussed various use cases.
